Five Ways to Support Five Days
Join us in telling the U.S. Congress that we must end - and reverse - the national trend of overwork. It's an easy, nonpartisan way to help change the world for the better.
2. Show your Five Day pride.
Add our Web icon to your personal or business site. All you need to do is add this code to your site:
<a href="http://www.fivedayweekend.org/"><img src="http://badge.fivedayweekend.org/images/badge.jpg" alt="Friends of the Five Day Weekend" border="0"></a>
Oh, and don't forget to pick up some fine swag over at the Five Day Store, where we don't charge any markup on Five Day Weekend Merchandise.
We're taking the movement national (well, at least regional) with a series of Five Day Weekend rallies. There's going to be food, giveaways, good times and some nice raucous solidarity for the overworked American. So come by and say hi if we're in your town. Check out the schedule on our rally info page and for more details.
One of the easiest ways to be a Friend of the Five Day Weekend is to be, well, a "friend" of the Five Day Weekend on MySpace. So add us to your friends list, post your thoughts in the comments section, and keep an eye out for bulletins and blog entries found only on www.myspace.com/fivedayfriends.
5. Take a Five Day Weekend.
Just one - for now. See what you think. See how you feel when you come back to work. Ideally, we'd love for you to come share your Five Day Weekend with us in our hometown of Asheville, N.C. But most of all, we just want you to take some time for yourself, your family and your sanity.
